Craig Carter has lived in Gainesville since 1989. He has owned and operated several business, including a durable medical supply company and a golf car dealership (which he recently sold). He also owned a company that specialized in environmental modifications of homes and businesses for handicap accessibility and worked hand in hand with the Veterans Affairs office. In March of 2014, he was elected to the Gainesville City Commission and is thoughly enjoying the challenges of serving his constituents and striving to make Gainesville an even greater community to live in.
Craig has bought and sold a lot real estate for personal investment over the years and felt that now is the perfect time to take his passion to a new level as a career. He is looking forward to meeting new people and working together with his clients in creative and innovative ways to meet their commercial real estate needs.
Craig is married to Michelle, has four children and three grandchildren. When he’s not working, Craig is very involved with his church and his family. He loves camping, especially at Florida parks, and enjoys canoeing, hiking and bike riding.
Michelle Carter came to the University of Florida and never left! She worked for many years as Marketing Coordinator for an engineering firm and then co-owned and managed several businesses with Craig. She is very detail oriented and organized and is excited to be using those marketing skills in commercial real estate.
